This battery iron meets the requirements of the following EU directives: 89/336/EEC "Electromagnetic compatibility" 73/23/EEC "Electrical equipment for use within specific voltage limits" Notes on safety: For safety and approval (CE) reasons, unauthorized modification and/or the alteration of the device(s) is not permitted. The structure of the charger conforms to Safety Category 2 (total insulation). It must be ensured that the housing insulation is neither damaged nor destroyed. A damaged power cable may be replaced only by the manufacturer or his after-sales service or by a specialist electrician. Soldering work on live components and elements is not permitted. Use under adverse ambient conditions is also not permitted.
