**The object of the declaration described above is in conformity with the relevant Union harmonisation legislation;** REGULATION (EU) 2023/1542 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 12 July 2023 concerning batteries and waste batteries, amending Directive 2008/98/EC and Regulation (EU) 2019/1020 and repealing Directive 2006/66/EC. Referred to as the “ **Batteries Regulation (EU) 2023/1542** ”. 

All cells and batteries manufactured by Tadiran Batteries GmbH are classified as **Industrial Batteries** in accordance with the Batteries Regulation (EU) 2023/1542, Chapter 1, General provisions, Article 3, Definition (13). Furthermore, they are not restricted by the substances listed in ANNEX I of (EU) 2023/1542. Concerning Tadiran’s Industrial Batteries that are of <2 kWh, they are required to meet the relevant parts CHAPTER’s III and IV, concerning labelling, marking and conformity. 

**The following harmonised standards and technical specifications have been applied.**

Alle Zellen und Batterien, die von Tadiran Batteries GmbH hergestellt werden, sind gemäß der Batterieverordnung (EU) 2023/1542, Kapitel 1, Allgemeine Bestimmungen, Artikel 3, Definition (13) als **Industriebatterien** klassifiziert. Darüber hinaus werden sie nicht durch die in ANHANG I der Verordnung (EU) 2023/1542 aufgeführten Stoffe eingeschränkt. Die Industriebatterien von Tadiran mit einem Volumen von <2 kWh müssen die relevanten Teile des Kapitels III und IV in Bezug auf Kennzeichnung, Kennzeichnung und Konformität erfüllen. 

**Die folgenden harmonisierten Normen und technischen Spezifikationen wurden angewandt.**
