OEM 1B 3½ Digit LCD Voltmeter Module ## **PRODUCT DESCRIPTION** The OEM 1B uses the latest miniaturisation techniques to produce a very compact 3 ½ digit LCD voltmeter. It is designed to be a drop-in component in most medium and high volume applications, ranging from personal instrumentation and integral sensor indicators to measurement probes. The meter features 8mm digit height, 3 decimal points, auto-polarity, auto-zero, 200mV full scale reading and a very low current consumption. Connectiontothemoduleisviatwodualinlinerowsofpins. ## **FEATURES** - 8mm (0.31") Digit Height - 200mV d.c. Full Scale Reading - 150 A @ 7.5 to 14V Operation - Auto-zero and Auto-polarity - • Selectable Decimal Points • Very Compact Design ## **TYPICAL APPLICATIONS** - Personal Gas Monitoring - Medical Instruments ## **ORDERING INFORMATION** Stock Number Standard Meter **OEM 1B** - Measurement Probes - Hand held instruments ## **ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS** |**Specification**|**Min.**|**Typ.**|**Max.**|**Unit**| |---|---|---|---|---| |Accuracy (overall error) *
~~ee~~|~~ee~~|0.1
~~ee~~|~~ee~~|%(±1 count)
~~ee~~| |Linearity|||1
+|count| |y
Sample rate
~~a~~|~~Ss~~|2.5
~~Ss~~|~~S(O~~|samples/sec
~~S(O~~| |Operatingtemperature range
~~a~~|0
~~Ss~~|~~Ss~~|50
~~S(O~~
~~(~~|°C
~~S(O~~
~~(~~| |Temperature stability||100||ppm/°C| |Supplyvoltage(V+ to V-)
~~a~~|7.5
~~ee~~|9
~~es~~|14**
~~es~~|V d.c.
~~es~~| |Supplycurrent
~~a~~|~~ee~~
~~eS~~|150
~~es~~|~~es~~
~~es~~|A
~~es~~
~~ee~~| |Input leakage current (Vin = 0V)
~~a~~|~~ee~~
~~eS~~|1
~~es~~|10
~~es~~
~~es~~|pA
~~es~~
~~ee~~| * To ensure maximum accuracy, re-calibrate periodically. ** Operation of the meter beyond the maximum supply voltage rating may cause permanent damage to the meter. Unless otherwise noted, specifications apply at T =25°C, V supply =5Vd.c. (f clock =48kHz) and are tested with the module configured for floating input mode. ## **SAFETY** To comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD 93/68/EEC), input voltages to the module’s pins must not exceed 60Vdc. The user must ensure that the incorporation of the panel meter into the user’s equipment conforms to the relevant sections of BS EN 61010 (Safety Requirements for Electrical Equipment for Measuring, Control and LaboratoryUse). |LaboratoryUse).||||||| |---|---|---|---|---|---|---| |LASCAR ELECTRONICS LTD.||LASCAR ELECTRONICS INC.||||LASCAR ELECTRONICS (HK) LTD.| |MODULE HOUSE,
WHITEPARISH,
WILTSHIRE SP5 2SJ,
UK||4258 WEST 12th STREET,
ERIE,
PA 16505,
USA|||8th FLOOR,|8th FLOOR, CHINA AEROSPACE CENTRE,
143 HOI BUN ROAD,
KWUN TONG, KOWLOON,
HONG KONG| |TEL: +44 (1794) 884567||TEL: +1 (814) 835 0621||||TEL: +852 2389 6502| |FAX: +44 (1794) 884616
E-mail: sales@lascar.co.uk|FAX: +1 (814) 838 8141
E-mail: us-sales@lascarelectronics.com|||||FAX: +852 2389 6535
E- mail: saleshk@lascar.com.hk| |**_Specifications liable to change without prior warning_**||**OEM 1B**|**Issue 5**|**06/2010**|**S.L.**|**Applies to OEM 1B/3**| OEM 1B 3½ Digit LCD Voltmeter Module ## **DIMENSIONS** **==> picture [483 x 697] intentionally omitted <==** **----- Start of picture text -----**
All dimensions in mm (inches)
23.4 (0.92)
5.3 (0.21) 1.27 (0.05)
ee +0.2(0.01) aa le
CAL
17.8 (0.70)
o s + ae
5.5 (0.22) 5.0 2.54 (0.10)
(0.20)
FUNCTIONAL BLOCK DIAGRAM PIN CONFIGURATION (rear view)
V+
RHI Vref
CAL
COM wai Torrey
CAL
RLO
e S=-
INI
A/D XDP
+_ 1 8
ILO
ae ee
V- DP3 2 1
Specifications liable to change without prior warning OEM 1B Issue 5 06/2010 S.L. When a component is unavailable, discontinued or has an unacceptable lead time, we tap into our network of vetted European and Asian distributors to source what you need — without compromising on quality or traceability.
Request a quote →Compliant Alternatives
We identify pin-to-pin, electrically equivalent substitutes that meet the same certifications (RoHS, AEC-Q100, REACH) as your original specification — validated against datasheets, not just part numbers. Often at a lower cost.
