The main change is a decreased terminal width from 0.400” to 0.380”, which will affect only the upper part of the terminal coming of the part, not the solderable terminal surface or recommended pad layout. This change only applies to parts with tin-plated, “symmetrical” lead frames. See images on the following pages for more information. Some datasheets currently indicate this 0.400” terminal dimension. However, Vishay does not consider this dimension critical to form, fit, or function, so it will be removed from datasheets to align with the latest Vishay format. Other non-critical dimensions pertaining to the terminals will also be removed per Figure 2 below. Datasheets updates will be finalized by Dec 31, 2025.
