Do not use it for such a purpose.** 3. Do not use the sensor under the environment under the other conditions in excess of rated. 4. Do not use the sensor in place that is exposed by direct sunlight. 5. Do not use the sensor in place where the sensor may receive direct vibration or shock. 6. Do not use the thinner, alcohol, or other organic solvents. 7. Never disassemble, repair nor tamper with the sensor. ## **CAUTION** **Never use the product with an AC power supply. Do not use the product with voltage in excess of the rated voltage.** **Do not use the product with incorrect wiring. Otherwise, explosion, fire, malfunction may result.** ## **Precautions for Safe Use** Be sure to follow the safety precautions below for added safety. 1. Do not use the sensor under the environment with explosive, flammable or corrosive gas. 2. Do not use the sensor under the oil or chemical environment exceeding specifications. Performance is assured for typical detergents and disinfectants used in Food & Beverage industry. Refer to the following table when using these agents: 8. Please process it as industrial waste. ## **Precautions for Correct Use** 1. Laying Sensor wiring in the same conduit or duct as high-voltage wires or power lines may result in malfunction or damage due to conduit or use shielded cable. 2. Do not pull on the cable with excessive force. 3. If a commercial switching regulator is used, ground the FG (frame ground) terminal. 4. The sensor will be available 100 ms after the power supply is tuned ON. Start to use the sensor 100 ms or more after turning ON the power supply. If the load and the sensor are connected to separate power supplies, be sure to turn ON the sensor first. 5. Output pulses may be generated even when the power supply is OFF. Therefore, it is recommended to first turn OFF the power supply for the load or the load line. 6. The sensor must be mounted using the provided nuts. The proper tightening torque is 20 N°m max.. |**Manufacturer**|**Product name**|**Concen-**
**tration**|**Testtime**| |---|---|---|---| |Diversey|Diverfoam SMS HD|5%|720 h| ||Oxofoam|5%|720 h| ||Acifoam|5%|720 h| ||Divosan Hypochlorit|1%|720 h| ||Divosan Forte|1%|720 h| |Ecolab|P3-topactive® 200|5%|720 h| ||P3-topax® 56|5%|720 h| ||P3-topactive® OKTO|3%|720 h| ||P3-topax® 990|3%|720 h| ||P3-topax® 66|3%|720 h| |General|H2O2|6,5%|240 h| **10** **E3FC** ## **Dimensions** (Unit: mm) Tolerance class IT16 applies to dimensions in this data sheet unless otherwise specified. ## **Sensors** **==> picture [512 x 367] intentionally omitted <==** **----- Start of picture text -----**
Pre-wired Models 48 48 Sensitivity adjuster (Diffuse reflective, transparent models)
E3FC-T@1@ 35.7 Operation indicator 35.7 Operation indicator (orange)
(orange)
E3FC-R@1@ 26.4 Stability indicator 26.4 Stability indicator (green)
E3FC-D@1@ M18×1 (green) M18×1 Receiver
E3FC-L@1@
E3FC-B@1@
29.9 23 Emitter Optical axis Optical axis
29.9 (Through-beam,
Vinyl insurated round cord 4 dia. 4 cores Vinyl insurated round cord 4 dia. 4 cores transparent
(conductor cross sectional area: 0.128 mm² (conductor cross sectional area: 0.128 mm² models)
(AWG26)/insulation outside diameter: (AWG26)/insulation outside diameter:
0.85 dia.) standard length 2 m 0.85 dia.) standard length 2 m
M12 Connector ModelsE3FC-T@2@ 37,5 48 Operation indicator (orange) 37,5 48 Operation indicator (orange)Sensitivity adjuster (Diffuse reflective, transparent models)2 1
E3FC-R@2@ 26,4 Stability indicator 26,4 Stability indicator (green)
E3FC-D@2@ M18x1 (green) M18x1 Receiver 3 4
= =
E3FC-L@2@ ENEZ EZ
E3FC-B@2@
29,9 M12x1 23 M12x1 Emitter Optical axis Optical axis
- 29,9 (Through-beam,
transparent
models)
Terminal No. Specification
1 +V
2 L/on · D/on selectable
3 0V
4 Output
Attached nut
4
24 dia.
Three, 24
© |
16.6 16.6 7
16,6 16,6 7
**----- End of picture text -----**
**==> picture [35 x 5] intentionally omitted <==** **----- Start of picture text -----**
M18 4 P=1
**----- End of picture text -----**
**11** **E3FC** ## **Accessories (Order Separately)** **==> picture [434 x 309] intentionally omitted <==** **----- Start of picture text -----**
Reflectors
E39-R1S E39-R50
40.3
Two, 3.5 dia. 34 7.5 4.2 1
7
— 5 Be
59.9 52
8
1.6 a 2.7 BREE 34
36.95
41
E39-RP1 E39-R16
8.5
44
3 43
37
0.2
80 72 63.6 reflective surface
21.8 × 27.8 mm
Reflector
Two, 3.5 dia.
3.5 8±0.3
3.85
56 60
51.99
15
**----- End of picture text -----**
**==> picture [169 x 96] intentionally omitted <==** **----- Start of picture text -----**
43
37 5
reflective surface
21.8 × 27.8 mm Ø 3.2
R4
30
15
**----- End of picture text -----**
**==> picture [81 x 19] intentionally omitted <==** **----- Start of picture text -----**
Mounting brackets
E39-L183
**----- End of picture text -----**
**==> picture [85 x 19] intentionally omitted <==** **----- Start of picture text -----**
Flush mounting nut
E39-EL16
**----- End of picture text -----**
**==> picture [463 x 149] intentionally omitted <==** **----- Start of picture text -----**
42
4.3 Ø26
Two, R15
22
Two, 30°
37 Two, 4.3
15
M18×1 4
1.5
(R16.5)
90°
18.2 dia.
36.5
20
45°
**----- End of picture text -----**
ALL DIMENSIONS SHOWN ARE IN MILLIMETERS.
