**MEDER electronic** **CRR Series** ## SPST Reed Relays ## **DESCRIPTION** The MEDER CRR Reed Relay Series is a low-profile device made with a ceramic case that exactly matches the thermal coefficient of expansion of the Reed Switch glass and the reed lead to eliminate any potential packaging stress. This Reed Relay is the smallest in the industry and switches into the billions of operations. ## **FEATURES** This Relay has 1 µ V typical thermal offset. Measuring only 8.6 mm x 4.4 mm x 3.4 mm, the leadless design eliminates skewing of leads and coplanarity issues. Insulation resistance typical to all points is >10[14 ] Ohms. - Ceramic / thermoset molded package - Patent pending - Smallest in the industry - No lead frame surface mount design eliminates skewing of leads and coplanarity issues - Available with BGA ## **APPLICATIONS** - Internal magnetic shield standard - Very low profile - Gold plated leads - Test and measurement - Medical equipment - Telecommunications - Low thermal offset typical 1 µV - TCE matching of all internal components - Insulation resistance typical 1014 ohms - 3 Volt option available ## **DIMENSIONS (Non-BGA)** *All dimensions in mm (inch) **==> picture [143 x 65] intentionally omitted <==** **----- Start of picture text -----**
8.6 ±01 < 4.4 ±01
[0.339±0.004] [0.173±0.004]
6 ±01
[0.236±0.004]
**----- End of picture text -----**
## **1A** ## **1B** **PIN OUT** (Top View) ## **PCB LAYOUT** **PAD LAYOUT** (Bottom View) **==> picture [213 x 58] intentionally omitted <==** **----- Start of picture text -----**
3.60
a [0.0472]1.20 [ØØ 0.0031]0.95 [0.1417] = [0.0197]0.50
9 8 7 6
@ @ Q Q Se [0.0276]0.70 10x R0.475[0.187] 0 GQ
10 o——_ _0 5 S S [0.0472]1.20 y—
1 @ 2 + 3 @ 4 KOE N [0.378][0.0374]9.600.95 _q- [0.123]3.125 e
4.40 [0.1732] 1.45 [0.0571]
2.20 [0.0866] 1.475 [0.0581]
0.925 [0.0364]
**----- End of picture text -----**
**==> picture [12 x 7] intentionally omitted <==** **----- Start of picture text -----**
1A
**----- End of picture text -----**
**==> picture [12 x 7] intentionally omitted <==** **----- Start of picture text -----**
1B
**----- End of picture text -----**
www.meder.com **140** **CRR Series** **MEDER electronic** SPST Reed Relays ## **DIMENSIONS (with BGA) 1A Version** *All dimensions in mm (inch) **==> picture [45 x 45] intentionally omitted <==** **PIN OUT** (Top View) ## **PAD / PCB LAYOUT** (Bottom View) ## **POST REFLOW** **==> picture [72 x 37] intentionally omitted <==** Höhe: max. ## **ORDER INFORMATION** ||||**ORDE**| |---|---|---|---| |Series|Nominal
Voltage|Switch
Form|Option| |CRR|05-|1A|X| |Options|||S*| |* Solder Ball Option (non-BGA part number is CRF05-1A)|||| Part Number Example CRR05 - 1AS **05** is the nominal voltage **1A** is the contact form **S** is the solder ball option ## **COIL DATA** **==> picture [382 x 144] intentionally omitted <==** **----- Start of picture text -----**
Contact Switch Coil Coil Pull-In Drop-Out Nominal
Form Model Voltage Resistance Voltage Voltage Coil Power
VDC Ω VDC VDC mW
All Data
at 20 °C * Nom. About Novapart
Novapart is a B2B electronic component broker specialising in stock shortages and cost reduction. We source hard-to-find parts and identify compliant alternatives across a catalogue of 410,000+ components from 500+ manufacturers.
Learn more →Stock Shortage Specialist
When a component is unavailable, discontinued or has an unacceptable lead time, we tap into our network of vetted European and Asian distributors to source what you need — without compromising on quality or traceability.
Request a quote →Compliant Alternatives
We identify pin-to-pin, electrically equivalent substitutes that meet the same certifications (RoHS, AEC-Q100, REACH) as your original specification — validated against datasheets, not just part numbers. Often at a lower cost.
