Reed Sensors **Datasheet** **59141 Miniature Flange Mount Sensor** Flange Mounting Sensor ## **Description** The 59141 is a miniature flange mounting reed sensor occupying only 3.22cm² (0.500”²) board space with a choice of normally open, normally open high voltage, normally closed or changeover contacts. The case design enables mounting with M3 screw with washer at 1 Nm torque maximum or adhesive mounting. The wires exit from the left-hand side, see Drawing 2. It is also available with right-hand exit - see 59140 Series. The 59141 series is capable of switching up to 265Vac/300Vdc at 10VA. It is well suited for use in a wide range of industrial, appliances, or IoT proximity sensing applications. The 59141 functions best with the matching actuator 57141-000. ## **Additional Information** **==> picture [206 x 64] intentionally omitted <==** **----- Start of picture text -----**
“e | &
Resources Accessories Samples
**----- End of picture text -----**
**Dimensions** Dimensions in mm (inch) Tolerances are +/- 0.25 (0.010) unless otherwise noted. **==> picture [242 x 274] intentionally omitted <==** **----- Start of picture text -----**
Drawing 1
Actuator (sold separately)
6.00 23.00
(.236) (.906)
“| ' CI
3.00 14.00
(.118) (.551)
a 3.20x3.81 Typ. oa
Slot (.126x.150)
Sensor (Two-wire version) Drawing 2
23.00 6.00
(.906) (.236)
(Excluding Encapsulant)
14.00 3.00
(.551) (.118)
t eal 3.20x3.81 Typ.
Table 1
Schematics Switch Type
BlackBlack 1 and 2
Black
BlueWhite 3
BlackBlack 4
7.50 (.295)
11.00 (.433)
14.00 (.551)
11.00 (.433) 7.50 (.295)
14.00 (.551)
**----- End of picture text -----**
## **Features and Benefits** - Non-contact switching ■ Can operate through solution for wet & harsh non-ferrous materials (for environments example, wood, plastic or - ■ Housing design for optimum aluminium) adjustability ■ Helps implement efficient - ■ Available in select sensitivities proximity/access and energy management systems - Available in select sensitivities (operating distances) - Standard cable ■ Compact size and easy configurations; customization installation and effective options available concealment in many applications - Hermetically sealed, IP67 rated; UL and REACH ■ UL Recognized per UL 508 compliant and CSA C22.2 No. 14. - No leakage current in ‘open’ state−ideal for batterypowered IoT applications ## **Applications** - Security and access control ■ Major appliances - ■ Factory automation ■ Small appliances ■ Process equipment ■ Proximity and limit sensing **Table 2** - **Agency Approvals** - **Agency Agency File Number** E61760 - **Note:** Contact Littelfuse for specific agency approval ratings. © 2022 Littelfuse, Inc.
