The new optimized design provides a weight reduction of up to 60% over copper and drop-forged lugs. ## Efficient, Reliable Terminations The terminal’s perforated insert in the crimp barrel penetrates aluminum oxides on the conductor to form a long-lasting, oxide-free termination. The single crimp process also eliminates the need for a second crimp for wire sealing.
