## Product Description 

IBS ECO-LINK is a different approach for the use of the INTERBUS system on IBM-compatible PCs. IBS ECO-LINK is an inexpensive solution which offers easy handling for simple control tasks. The user has almost immediate success, since the signals of the peripherals are made available in the PC without any great effort. 

IBS ECO-Link is ideally suited for startup and servicing purposes. In addition, the IBS ECO-LINK can also be used for measurement value acquisition, e.g. when using portable computers, as a control unit for uncomplicated machines and small systems. Bus operation and protocol handling are carried out by the PC. IBS ECO-LINK is connected to the serial interface of the PC, making the performance of the system very dependent on the type of processor used and its workload. 

The driver software for Windows and DOS is an integral part of the product, just as the sample programs and a monitor are, but it does not have to be installed separately as the serial drivers of the operating system are used. The latest particular version can be found on our web site. The driver allows you to create powerful INTERBUS applications using C, C++, Delphi or Visual Basic quickly and easily.
