Please observe the maximum current capacity for the cables. 

Required for UL applications: 

- the supply and signal cables to the Modules XIOC‐8DO, ‐16DO, ‐16DO‐S, ‐12DO‐R, ‐16DX, must use conductors with a cross-section of AWG16 (1.3 mm[2] ) 

- terminal connectors with screw terminals, type XIOC‐TERM‐18S, must be used (the maximum permissible conductor cross-section for the spring-loaded terminal is only 1.0 mm[2] . This makes it impossible/impermissible to connect up a conductor with an AWG16 cross section (1.3 mm[2] ).
