## **Description** 

- The TPSMB-VR series is designed specifically to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. **Features** 

- ~~[oT~~ • High reliability application • Low incremental surge and automotive grade AEC resistance Q101 qualified • Typical IR ≤ 1µA for VR > 10V ≤ 1µA for VR > 10V > 10V 

   - Typical IR ≤ 1µA for VR > 10V 

- Surface mount component • High temperature to minimize board space soldering guaranteed: 

- • Low profile package 260°C/10 seconds at terminals 

- Typical failure mode is short from over-specified • UL Recognized compound voltage or current meeting flammability 

- •  Whisker test is conducted rating V-0. 

- Whisker test is conducted based on JEDEC •  Meet MSL level1, JESD201A per its table 4a per J-STD-020, high and 4c temperature soldering 

- •  ESD protection of data guaranteed. lines in accordance with • Matte tin lead–free plated IEC 61000-4-2, 30kV(Air), • Halogen free and RoHS 30kV (Contact) compliant 

- EFT protection of data •  Pb-free E3 means 2nd lines in accordance with level interconnect is PbIEC 61000-4-4 free and the terminal finish 

- •  Glass passivated chip material is tin(Sn) (IPC/ junction JEDEC J-STD-609A.01) 

- 600W peak pulse power •  Recognized to UL 497B capability at 10/1000μs as an Isolated Loop Circuit waveform, repetition rate Protector (duty cycles):0.01% 

- Fast response time: typically less than 1.0ns from 0V to VBR min 

- Excellent clamping capability 

**Notes:** 

**1.** Non-repetitive current pulse per Fig. 4 and derated above TA = 25[O] C per Fig. 3. 

**2.** Mounted on copper pad area of 0.2x0.2” (5.0 x 5.0mm) to each terminal. 

**3.** Measured on 8.3ms single half sine wave or equivalent square wave for unidirectional component only,duty cycle=4 per minute maximum. 

**4.** VF<3.5V for part number with Vr< 250V, VF<5.0V for part numbers with Vr>=250V .
