## **Select Riedon™ Power Wirewound Resistors by Bourns** _**Part Number Update**_ 

_Riverside, California_ – February 16, 2026 – Bourns is pleased to announce that, in the spirit of continuous improvement, effective immediately, the Riedon™ HPP, UT, UB, and MT Series Power Wirewound Resistors by Bourns will adopt an updated part numbering format designed to provide clearer identification of product packaging. In addition, the S & SL and SF‑2 Series datasheets have been revised to include updated details for packaging, tape, and reel configurations. This update improves transparency and simplifies part selection by ensuring the packaging type is clearly defined. 

There is no change to the form, fit, function, quality, or reliability of the affected series. The existing part numbers will remain unchanged, however, beginning on the effective date, tape and reel, through‑hole part numbers will include an added suffix of TR12 or TR14, corresponding to the reel size as specified in the product datasheets. Parts ordered in our standard bulk packaging will continue to use the current part numbers.
