The toroidal current sensor provides isolation and allows monitoring of more than one line at a time. The SCR Series energizes when one or more lamps fail. It will monitor the operation of one to four side lights and up to four beacon lamps. ## Operation ## **Wiring Diagram** BEACON LAMP CONNECTION DIAGRAM **==> picture [28 x 6] intentionally omitted <==** **----- Start of picture text -----**
L1 N/L2
**----- End of picture text -----**
V = Voltage B = Beacon Lamps SS = Selector Switch T = Toroid F = Flasher AXL = Auxiliary Load/Alarm Relay contacts are isolated. When a lamp fails, the SCR Series senses a decrease in current flow. After a fixed time delay, the LED glows and the two alarm outputs energize. The outputs and the LED are reset when the failed lamps are replaced and the current returns to the nominal setting, or when the input voltage is removed. The SCR will sense an open flasher, it will not sense a continuously ON flasher (see FB Series). ## **Features & Benefits** **==> picture [256 x 140] intentionally omitted <==** **----- Start of picture text -----**
|||| |---|---|---| |FEATURES|BENEFITS| |Provides isolation from the lighting circuit and| |Toroidal current sensing|allows monitoring of multiple lines simultaneously| |Monitors 1-4 side|Senses failed incandescent flashing beacon or| |lights or up to 4| |beacon lamps|steady obstruction lamps| |Isolated, 10A, SPDT alarm| |output plus one 1A,|Provides alarm indication and can also be used for| |solid-state line voltage|remote monitoring of the lighting system| |alarm output| |BeCe|Fixed trip delay (6s)|Prevents nuisance alarms| |Switch selectable| |User selectable to meet wide application needs| |number, voltage, and| |wattage of lamps|with one relay| **----- End of picture text -----**
## OBSTRUCTION LAMP CONNECTION DIAGRAM L1 N/L2 V = Voltage SS = Selector Switch T = Toroid AXL = Auxiliary Load/Alarm OL = Obstruction Lamps ## **Ordering Information** **==> picture [214 x 43] intentionally omitted <==** **----- Start of picture text -----**
|||| |---|---|---| |MODEL|INPUT|LAMP TYPE| |SCR430T|120VAC|Incandescent| |SCR630T|230VAC|Incandescent| **----- End of picture text -----**
If you don’t find the part you need, call us for a custom product 800-843-8848 Relay contacts are isolated. © 2016 Littelfuse Protection Relays & Controls www.littelfuse.com/scr Rev: 1-A-062316 **Flashers and Tower Lighting Controls** Tower and Obstruction Lighting Controls **==> picture [93 x 33] intentionally omitted <==** ## ~~SC~~ R SE ~~RIE~~ S ## **Selection Range** **==> picture [194 x 76] intentionally omitted <==** **----- Start of picture text -----**
SCR430T SCR630T
a. 620 W 116 W 700 W 116 W
b. 120 V 130 V a.
4L 4L
3L 3L
c. c.
2L 2L
1L 1L
**----- End of picture text -----**
- a. Founded in 1927 and headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, Littelfuse is a premier global manufacturer of circuit protection, power control, and sensing technologies. Widely recognized for pioneering the first small, fast-acting protective fuse, the company has grown into an industry leader whose highly reliable components are essential to modern industrial, transportation, and consumer electronics applications worldwide. At the core of the Littelfuse portfolio is an expansive and industry-leading range of circuit protection solutions. This encompasses a massive selection of traditional fuses, fuse holders, and resettable PTC thermistor fuses designed to safely interrupt overcurrent conditions. To defend against electrical overstress, Littelfuse also provides advanced transient voltage suppression (TVS) technologies, including thousands of specialized TVS diodes, TVS varistors, and gas discharge tubes (GDTs) that ensure robust defense against voltage spikes and environmental hazards. Beyond its foundational protection components, Littelfuse manufactures a diverse array of discrete semiconductors, sensors, and switching devices. Engineers rely on their high-performance thyristors, including TRIACs and SCRs, alongside power-efficient Schottky diodes and MOSFETs for demanding power control applications. Complemented by precision proximity sensors and highly reliable reed and solid-state relays, Littelfuse delivers the critical building blocks required for secure, efficient, and complete system design.
