## **Description** 

The P6KE Series is designed specifically to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. 

## **Features** 

- 600W peak pulse • Typical IR less than 1μA capability at 10/1000μs when VBR min>12V waveform, repetition rate • Compatible with high (duty cycles):0.01% temperature reflow 

- • Glass passivated chip soldering (260°C/30 s) junction in DO-15 Package •  VBR @ TJ= VBR@25°C 

- • Fast response time: x (1+ α T x (TJ - 25)) typically less than 1.0ps ( α T:Temperature from 0 Volts to BV min Coefficient, typical value is 0.1%) 

- Excellent clamping capability • UL Recognized epoxy 

- •  Typical failure mode is meeting flammability short from over-specified classification V-0 voltage or current • Matte tin lead–free plated 

- Whisker test conducted • Halogen free and RoHS based on Table 4a and 4c compliant of JEDEC JESD201A • Pb-free E3 means 2nd 

- •  IEC 61000-4-2 ESD level interconnect is Pb30kV(Air), 30kV (Contact) free and the terminal finish 

- •  EFT protection of data material is tin(Sn) (IPC/ lines in accordance with JEDEC J-STD-609A.01) IEC 61000-4-4 

- Low incremental surge resistance

For bidirectional type having VR of 10 volts and less, the IR limit is double. For parts without A , the VBR is ± 10% and VC is 5% higher than with A parts, the parts without A are currently available, but not recommended for new designs. The parts with A are preferred. For stack-die parts, use * to label the part number.
