## Technical Data ## Circuit Protection – RCDs ## Brief product description: The two module, double pole RCDs provide earth fault current protection for residential and light commercial applications. Available with a choice of 40, 63 or 80A rating, and choice of 30 or 100mA sensitivity. All BG RCDs are the common Type AC, suitable for situations where there are residual sinusoidal alternating currents. The Time Delayed RCD is used typically when two RCDs are installed in series, and the time delayed RCD enables discrimination, i.e. in the event of a fault only the ‘upstream’ RCD should trip. To remove devices, pull out retaining device clip from bottom of RCD (using flat screwdriver) and remove by lifting bottom part of RCD first.
