## Description

The Multicomp Pro BAV199T-7-F is a dual series silicon switching diode housed in a compact 3-pin SOT-523 surface-mount package. Engineered for low leakage applications, this semiconductor discrete features a repetitive peak reverse voltage and DC blocking voltage rating of 85V, with a reverse breakdown voltage minimum of 85V at a test current of 100 µA. The device supports a continuous forward current of 160 mA for a single diode configuration (140 mA for double diode operation) and handles a peak forward surge current of up to 4 A for a 1 µs pulse duration. Total power dissipation is rated at 150 mW with a junction-to-ambient thermal resistance of 500 °C/W across an operating and storage temperature range of -65 °C to +150 °C.

Electrical performance is highlighted by exceptionally low reverse leakage current, measuring a maximum of 5 nA at a reverse voltage of 75V at 25 °C, and increasing to only 80 nA at a high temperature of 150 °C. Forward voltage drop ranges from 900 mV at 1 mA up to 1.25 V at 150 mA. The component exhibits a low junction capacitance of 2 pF at 0V and 1 MHz, alongside a medium-speed reverse recovery time of 3 µs under test conditions of IF = IR = 10 mA with RL = 100 Ω.
