## Description

The BAS40W-04-7-F is a surface-mount dual series Schottky barrier rectifier housed in a compact 3-pin SOT-323 package. Engineered with an integrated PN junction guard ring for enhanced electrostatic discharge (ESD) and transient overvoltage protection, this component features a repetitive peak reverse voltage rating of 40 V and an average forward current of 1 mA, with a maximum continuous forward current capability of 200 mA under recommended PCB layout conditions. The device delivers a low forward voltage drop of 380 mV max at 1.0 mA, optimizing efficiency in low-power signal conditioning circuits. It also exhibits a fast reverse recovery time of 5 ns and a low total capacitance of 5.0 pF at 0 V, making it well-suited for high-frequency switching operations.

Designed for dense circuit board integration, the SOT-323 package supports a total power dissipation (PD) of 200 mW and an operating temperature range spanning from -55°C to +125°C. Typical application circuits include high-speed signal switching, clamping, wave shaping, and reverse polarity protection in portable electronics, telecommunication equipment, and precision analog interfaces. The device is fully RoHS compliant, halogen-free, and antimony-free, meeting strict environmental and industrial standards for green electronic components.
