## Description

The ACE1V4532-101-R from Eaton is an automotive-grade SMD common mode choke engineered for high-reliability electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppression in demanding signal and power architectures. Built in a compact 1812 (4532 metric) surface-mount package measuring 4.5 x 3.2 x 2.8 mm, this component offers robust physical stability and is AEC-Q200 qualified to withstand harsh automotive environmental conditions. It features a minimum common-mode impedance of 2000 ohms (with a 5000 ohm typical value) at 10 MHz and provides a nominal common-mode inductance of 100 µH with a +50%/-30% tolerance at 100 kHz. 

Designed to operate across a wide temperature range of -40°C to +125°C (inclusive of ambient and self-temperature rise), the device exhibits a maximum direct current resistance (DCR) of 2.0 ohms at +25°C and supports a maximum continuous DC current (Idc) of 150 mA. The choke operates at a typical rated voltage of 50 Vdc and guarantees a minimum insulation resistance of 10 Mohms. Constructed with a Moisture Sensitivity Level 1 (MSL 1) rating and full RoHS compliance, it is also compatible with J-STD-020 lead-free solder reflow profiles for seamless automated printed circuit board assembly.

This surface-mount common mode filter is ideally suited for Controller Area Network (CAN) busses, Ethernet architectures, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), infotainment networks, safety cameras, and powertrain xEV modules. Its electrical profile makes it particularly effective for integration into electronic control units (ECUs), electric power steering (EPS) systems, and battery management systems (BMS) where reliable high-frequency noise attenuation and signal integrity preservation are critical.
