Surface/Insertion probes feature a unique replaceable element design which provides fast, accurate temperature measurements for many specialized applications. Available in thermocouple calibrations K (CHROMEGA[®] -ALOMEGA[®] ) and E (CHROMEGA[®] -Constantan), these probes are supplied with 300 mm (1') retractable cable and an SMPW subminiature male connector.

Many models of the 88000 Series are also available with a unique head design, allowing the measurement head to rotate 180° and swivel. This allows a single probe to be used where different head orientations and alignments are necessary. Probes with the swivel head are designated with 98000 Series model numbers, for easy ordering. 

## **Wires and Terminations** 

88000 probes are normally supplied with retractable sensor cable, with 300 mm (1') **Retractable** expanding to 1.5 m (5').
