## Description

The Multicomp Pro 1N4148 is a high-speed silicon switching diode housed in a hermetically sealed DO-35 glass axial package. Engineered with a glass-passivated chip configuration, this 2-pin through-hole component offers long-term stability and high reliability in demanding industrial, military, and space environments. It features a repetitive peak reverse voltage ($V_{RRM}$) of 100 V, a continuous reverse voltage of 75 V, and an average forward current ($I_{F(AV)}$) rating of 150 mA, with a maximum DC forward current capability of 200 mA. 

Designed for fast response topologies, this small signal diode achieves an ultra-fast reverse recovery time ($t_{rr}$) of 4 ns when switched from $I_F = 10\text{ mA}$ to $I_R = 60\text{ mA}$ with a $100\,\Omega$ recovery load. It exhibits a maximum forward voltage ($V_F$) of 1.0 V at a forward current of 10 mA, alongside a non-repetitive peak surge current ($I_{FSM}$) of up to 2 A for a 1 µs pulse duration. The device maintains low reverse leakage characteristics, registering just 25 nA at a reverse voltage of 20 V and 5 µA at 75 V under standard ambient conditions.

With an operating and storage junction temperature range spanning from -65°C to +200°C and a total power dissipation rating of 500 mW, the 1N4148 is well-suited for high-frequency signal processing, clamping, and logic switching circuits. The axial leaded DO-35 configuration supports standard through-hole PCB mounting and is compatible with automated insertion machinery via 52 mm axial tape and ammo packing specifications.

## **52mm Taping Specification** 

1. T and A indicates axial tape and ammo packing (52mm tape spacing).
