**Description** The 1.5SMB Series is designed specifically to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients ~~oO~~ induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. 

## **Features** 

- For surface mounted •  VBR @ TJ= VBR@25°C applications to optimize x (1+αT x (TJ - 25)) board space (αT:Temperature 

- • Low profile package Coefficient, typical value is 0.1%) 

- Typical failure mode is short from over-specified • Excellent clamping voltage or current capability 

- Whisker test is conducted • Low incremental surge based on JEDEC resistance JESD201A per its table 4a •  Meet MSL level 1 per and 4c J-STD-020, and high 

- •  ESD protection of data temperature soldering lines in accordance with guaranteed: 260C/10sec IEC 61000-4-2, 30kV(Air), • Matte tin lead–free Plated 30kV (Contact) • Halogen free and RoHS 

- •  EFT protection of data compliant lines in accordance with • Pb-free E3 means 2[nd] level IEC 61000-4-4 interconnect is Pb-free 

- • Built-in strain relief and the terminal finish • Glass passivated chip material is tin(Sn) (IPC/ JEDEC J-STD-609A.01) 

- Glass passivated chip junction 

- 1500W peak pulse power capability at 10/1000μs waveform, repetition rate (duty cycles):0.01%

1. Non-repetitive current pulse  , per Fig. 4 and derated above TJ (initial) =25[O] C per Fig. 3. 

2. Mounted on copper pad area of 0.2x0.2” (5.0 x 5.0mm) to each terminal. 

3. Measured on 8.3ms single half sine wave or equivalent square wave for unidirectional component only, duty cycle=4 per minute maximum.
